VISIT HER GRAVE
On January 12, 2021, the 20th anniversary of her death, Mother Félix returned to Madrid.
Since then, her mortal remains rest in the Mater Salvatoris Shrine, in the General House and Training House of the Company of the Savior.
Here you will find information of interest to visit the Shrine and pray at the Mother’s grave.
THE MATER SALVATORIS SHRINE
The Mater Salvatoris Shrine, where the remains of Mother María Félix rest, is a place of peace and prayer for the intentions of the Church throughout the world.
The image of the Virgin that, together with the cross, presides over the presbytery, remembers the two great loves of Mother Felix: Jesus Christ and the souls, whom she wanted to place in all schools under the maternal protection of the Mother of the Savior.
The horizon of the Madrid mountains – in the background – recalls the deep gaze of the Mother’s heart, who wrote in 1950: Driven by Jesus, I dare to offer what remains of my life and my death, united with the agony and death of my most adorable Lord, to save souls, so that sanctifying grace may be poured out in the world, so that the Heavenly Father may be greatly glorified.
We trust that these wishes, which found fulfillment in her, will also be fulfilled in the devotees who come to pray next to the Mother’s tomb. The nuns will accompany them with their prayer.

CENTENARY OF THE VOCATION OF MOTHER FÉLIX 1922-2022
On Holy Thursday of 1922 María Félix received a great grace: she encountered the living Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, who loved her, and she offered herself to Him forever. She was 15 years old and she could write: “From that very happy day I am yours fully and consciously, forever.”
To celebrate the centenary of her vocation, her Blessed Sacrament will be exhibited every 12th day of the 2021-2022 academic year in the Mater Salvatoris Hermitage from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

To continue this beautiful tradition of adoring the Blessed Sacrament—following the example of Mother Félix—a Holy Hour has been held at the Hermitage since 2022.
It takes place from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the eve of the first Friday of every month. To confirm schedule for the next Holy Hour, you can write to madrefelix@ciasalvador.org
